Icon Automation’s Immediate Remote Access Point (IRAP) provides immediate access to production equipment by routing connections from existing plant PLCs to a remote user via a secure LTE cellular connection. This allows necessary plant personnel, Icon Automation, or a third party with the appropriate login credentials access when troubleshooting is required.
The Immediate Remote Access Point enables off-site support to work with equipment without being on the corporate network. This is particularly beneficial during 2nd and 3rd shifts when onsite engineers and maintenance personnel are not always available.
